Nettinx is a fast-growing Nigerian e-commerce company. We're expanding quickly and aiming to scale. As part of this growth, we’re hiring a Social Media Manager to drive engagement, increase visibility, and convert followers into customers.
Role Overview
As the Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing all our social media channels — mainly Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok — with a laser focus on building our brand, growing our audience, and generating consistent sales through organic content and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a content strategy across social media platforms that aligns with marketing and sales goals.
Create high-converting, attention-grabbing content (reels, stories, posts, carousels) that speaks to our target audience.
Plan and manage the content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely publishing.
Engage with followers, respond to comments and DMs, and manage community interactions to boost loyalty.
Monitor trends, hashtags, and viral opportunities.
Collaborate with the paid ads team to sync organic and paid content strategies.
Report weekly on engagement metrics, follower growth, reach, and content performance.
Recommend and test creative content ideas to drive direct sales organically.
Requirements
Proven experience managing social media accounts for an e-commerce brand.
Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook & their algorithms.
Experience using design tools like Canva or CapCut, and scheduling tools like Buffer or Later.
Ability to create engaging short-form video content (bonus if you’ve been on camera or worked with influencers).
Clear understanding of how to turn engagement into sales.
Excellent written English and communication skills.
A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently.
